No Book But the Bible

As followers of Christ, we take the Bible to be our only rule of faith and practice. We hold Christ as our only head. We plead for the unity of Christians based not on man made creeds, but on the foundation of Jesus Christ as the only Lord and Savior and on His inspired Word as the highest authority.

We wish to be Christians only, but we readily admit that we are not the only Christians. We attempt to use Bible names for Bible things, and do Bible things in Bible ways.

We understand that every matter is not an item of faith, nor are all matters just opinions. Where the Bible explicitly speaks, we hold that to be the standard for ourselves and all others. Where the Bible is silent we allow the largest differences of opinions.
